Huawei is not restricting itself to the smartphone world either, but is releasing some amazing tablets as well.
Chinese manufacturer Huawei has launched its latest low cost android tablet in India with the name Hauwei media pad 7 lite. This is yet another product launch in India, an advanced version of tablet that was launched last year and was called media pad. By launching this, Huwei is eyeing the lucrative market of low cost tablets in India and will be competing directly against Google Nexus 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.
Physically the tablet has a thickness of just 11mm and weighs around 370 grams which makes it easy to carry no matter wherever you may go. Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and comes packed with 7 inches of IPS LCD capacitive multi touch screen.
The display of the tablet features “Full View Angle IPS Screen” for better experience. The resolution of the display is 1280 X 800 pixels that offer clear and vibrant contents.

Within the metal body of the tablet comes packed Cortex A8 1.2 GHz of processor and the device features a rear camera for capturing decent quality images of all your special and memorable moments. A front facing camera for video calling is also present in the tablet.
Connectivity in the tablet is provided through options of Bluetooth, WiFi, USB and 3G. The music lovers can can entertain with music player that is capable of filtering the tracks through playlists, album, artist and background playback. Other specifications of Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite include OTA Sync, HTML Browser, YouTube support, document viewer, calendar and others.

Specifications of the device are still not available, but the product information page of the MediaPad 7 Lite boasts features such as:

All we know is that the device will feature Android 4.0 ICS out of the box, so it’s unfortunately not going to be the first non-Nexus Android tablet featuring Jelly Bean. This 7-inch slate will come with the “standard” 1280×800 resolution, and if the “full view angle” is any indication, will be anIPSorIPS-like display. For those who found disappointing the absence of a rear camera and microSD support on the Nexus 7, the MediaPad 7 Lite does have a rear camera (from the image) and is expected to come with an expandable memory option as well.
Specifications such as the processor, RAM, internal storage, etc. are still unknown. Information on pricing and release date is also unavailable, but a Q4 release is expected.
