LG AKA With Launched Mood Cases and Android 4.4 KitKat
LG has launched a new smartphone for young customers named AKA in South Korea. It can be used with four different cover cases, namely Eggy (Yellow), Wookie (White), Soul (Blue) and YoYo (Pink).
LG announced a brand new Android smartphone called AKA. One of the unique features of the LG AKA is its animated eyes towards the top of the phone. This is done by attaching an instance that covers the lower area of the device’s display. It helps to protect smartphone’s screen, but simultaneously allows the eyes to animate and display a number of expressions. The portion in which the screen is viewable may also act as a notification centre where you will get notified on incoming calls, text messages, emails, and so on. The covers are available in four different colours namely Eggy (Yellow), Wookie (White), Soul (Blue) and YoYo (Pink).
LG AKA includes a 5-inch IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution. It’s powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor (unspecified) with 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone operates on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. LG AKA features an 8-megapixel rear along with a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera has got the laser-assisted focus. The smartphone has 16GB of inbuilt storage, which may be expanded using microSD card.
LG has provided various connectivity options including 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, GPS, AGPS, and USB 2.0. Its dimensions are 138.7×71.9×9.9mm, weighs 135.5 grams (with no cover case) and is backed by a 2610mAh battery.
LG Electronics Inc. confirmed that it would begin updating G3 handsets using the new Android 5.0 Lollipop mobile operating. Users in Poland would be the first to download the brand new mobile operating system. Users in other markets should anticipate the Android 5.0 update in coming weeks using the smartphone manufacturer saying it will soon announce a release agenda for other mobile devices.
LG can also be preparing a new, H number of smartphones that will come with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating-system out of the box. The first smartphone from the series could be LG-H440N.
