Sony Xperia ZR is the super durable android phone which provides waterproof series of the smart phones, which can film HD underwater. With its generous 4.55 inches (720 x 1280 pixels, 323 ppi) display, and is powered by its 2300 mAh Li-Ion Battery. In terms of storage it has 8 GB, 2 GB RAM and storage is expandable via microSD, up to 32 GB. It also has a 13.1 MP, 4128×3096 pixels primary camera with LED flash and a secondary VGA camera for video-calls. It was announced in May 2013 and is now available. It also has NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G as well as microUSB v2.0 (MHL) connectivity.
The ZR has smaller screen when comparing with Z. Its 4.6 inch TFT capacitive touch screen has a large resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. And one of the most attractive thing on this phone is its pixel density of the display. It is having 323 ppi which comes under Retina quality ppi and will be able to deliver crystal clear images and videos onto the screen
The Sony Xperia ZR is fitted with a 13 MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. There are a couple of interesting features included such as HDR imaging and video recording, stunning night shots, auto setting of imaging mode based on scene recognition, burst mode capturing at 10 frames per second and many more.
The Xperia ZR comes with Android 4.1.2 Jellybean on board skinned with Sony’s Timescape UI. Sony did a good job in keeping their UI consistent across their Xperia devices.

The Li-Ion 2330 mAh battery of Xperia ZR claims 11 hours talk time for 2G and 13 hours for 3G. The standby backup time is 470 and 520 hours for 2G and 3G respectively. Sony claims that the device will continuously play music for up to 45 hours.
